Bikram yoga consists of 26 different postures, and each posture is performed twice in each 90-minute routine. It is a comprehensive type of yoga since it has standing, backward, forward bending and twisting positions, which stretch the muscles and make them work out.

Because of the heated room temperature, Bikram yoga awakens the nerves to work out the whole body. Since more energy is used for movements, the excess fats are used and extinguished through sweat. Due to this effect, a lot of yoga followers practice Bikram yoga in order to attain not only a clearer mind but also a slimmer, better toned body as well.
